It was very hard to mine in death valley because of the heat and lack of resources. There are only 4-5 house in death valley most of them are abandon like the gold mines witch are now abandon.Most of the miner unset to live in cabbed but some would drive back to Las Vegas witch is a 2 hour drive.

Hundreds of years ago, people were living in death valley. The traditional people of the land were the Cahuilla people.The Cahuilla (Ka-we-ah) Indians lived in the Mojave desert. Like other Native American people, they relied on their environment to live. They made many things from the trees. They used wood, bark, and leaves to build their homes. They would sometimes eat food to survive. They made tea out of the seeds, ate dried and ground mesquite seed pods, and ate roasted mesquite flowers! They used to kill rabbits to wear us food after the rabbit had been killed they used this Technic in the Winters.
